WHAT'S NEWS


We hope your summer has gotten off to a great start! 


  • After our Member Survey supported moving forward with a new, larger and bolder bronze mascot (image of the vision above!) to replace the aging one out front of the school - we have kicked off a summer campaign to raise the remaining funds for the project.   • LAST CHANCE to PROVIDE YOUR INPUT for planning and budgeting for next year. Click HERE to take a brief survey to share your thoughts, experiences and ideas!


  • Yard Sign News: our costs are increasing so prices will go up after June 30th. Scroll down for link to order today at current prices.


  • Empty nest soon? Consider donating your BVNW Yard Sign back to the PTO to be re-used! Will exchange it for a $10 gift card for a sweet treat at one of our supporters. Email us at BVNWPTO@gmail.com for pickup.


  • Incoming freshmen families: New Husky Orientation will be held on the evening of August 11th! Come see us at our table and get a fun Husky surprise! 


  • Don't forget to renew or become a BVNW PTO Member for the 2026-27 school year and support our teachers, staff and students. You can do so HERE or when you register your kiddo for school online. Please also consider donating to our "Invest in NW" fund that will go directly to our grant programs.

WHAT WE'VE DONE


THE VARSITY GIRLS BLACKOUT PRE-GAME TAILGATE - sponsored by the PTO - was well-attended by soccer fans and future (middle school) soccer players as well! Thank you to Leah Heinauer for organizing and all of the parent helpers!


Senior Picnic!

We had another well-attended Senior Picnic hosted by the PTO. Seniors enjoyed lunch, a selfie/photo booth, yearbook signing and a class photo! A big thank you to Katie Scheibel for organizing and the parent volunteers who helped make the day a success!  

CONGRATS BVNW STATE CHAMPIONS!

In case you missed it, our school had several athletes win at state in the past few weeks! In addition, our Boys Track and Field team placed 2nd at State - the best in BVNW history! Well done - we are so proud!

Our Mission is to foster a strong sense of community, support student spirit and achievement, and strengthen the partnership between parents, teachers and administration. 

We plan to do this by:

  • Supporting our teachers, counselors and school staff, so they feel appreciated and equipped with resources needed.
  • Supporting events, sports, clubs and extracurricular activities that enable all students to have positive experiences and build pride for their school.
  • Informing, engaging and growing our community of PTO Members and Donors.
