School Directories are Here!

The PTO-published School Directories were distributed this past week! Kudos to Katie Scheibel and family who put in many hours to make the Directory an invaluable resource with key school, teacher and sponsor as well as student* information! We are SO thankful for this treasure Katie!

The Directories were sent home with the youngest child of PTO Members and Donors via their Advisor. If you haven't received yours, first check your child's backpack before contacting us at BVNWPTO@gmail.com.

Send your kiddo to hang out with friends, eat pizza and play games. The PTO is sponsoring our first "Student Day Out" during their day off of school. A win-win for students and their parents!

Bring a BVNW Student ID for free entry, 4 hours of fun including a $10 game card & lunch (from 12-12:30p) - all paid for by the PTO!!! The event will be held from 11am to 3pm on Monday, November 10th at Main Event, 11950 S. Kansas City Rd, Olathe KS.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Pies for Teachers!

Show our teachers and school staff how grateful we are for their work with a pie (homemade or store-bought) in time for Thanksgiving break! Sign up here and deliver to the school before 10am on Friday November 21st.

WHAT WE'VE DONE

A HUGE thank you once again to our Staff Appreciation Committee for treating our teachers to an awesome conference meal! And what a beautiful presentation!

Thank you to the Dad's Club led by our very own Johnny Johnson who distributed fruit snacks and fist bumps before school on Friday the 17th. Both were much appreciated by the students!

Have ice cream, will celebrate! PTO Board Members handed out Andy's ice cream before school last Friday to celebrate Maryam Wambi and Ella Wang who are Doubles Tennis State Champions! Let's all give them a Big Congrats!

Our Mission is to foster a strong sense of community, support student spirit and achievement, and strengthen the partnership between parents, teachers and administration.

We plan to do this by:

Supporting our teachers, counselors and school staff, so they feel appreciated and equipped with resources needed.
Supporting events, sports, clubs and extracurricular activities that enable all students to have positive experiences and build pride for their school.
Informing, engaging and growing our community of PTO Members and donors.
